New for 2023, the Randle Golf Academy, at Morningstar in Parksville, offers Golf Fitness coaching and classes with Shelly Stouffer. About Shelly

Shelly Stouffer graduated with a Bachelor of Human Kinetics Degree from UBC in 1995 and she is currently a member in good standing with the British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists.  Shelly is Titleist Performance Institute certified which includes Level 1 and Fitness Level 2.  She worked as a kinesiologist from 2016 to 2020 at a physiotherapy clinic in Nanaimo and has experience working with clients injured in motor vehicle accidents and clients wanting to improve their health and fitness level.  She is the sole proprietor of Dynamic Kinesiology and has been working in the Oceanside area as a mobile kinesiologist since 2020.

Shelly was an active Professional Golfer from 1997 to 2005 playing on various Mini-Tours around the world, but mostly stayed in North America.  Her highlights include playing in the 2001 US Women’s Open, and 1998, 2000, 2001, 2002, and 2004 Canadian Women’s Opens.  She regained her amateur status in 2011 and won the Canadian Mid-Master (40 and over) that same year.  In 2012, 2013, 2015, 2016, and 2019 she was the BC Women’s Master-40 Champion and in 2016 and 2019 she was also the Women’s BC Mid-Amateur Champion.  She won the 2020, 2021, and 2022 BC Women’s Senior Championship and is also the 2021, 2022 Canadian Senior Women’s Champion, and 2022 Mid-Amateur and Mid-Master Champion. Shelly was a semi-finalist in the 2021 US Senior Women’s Amateur, and Champion of the 2022 US Senior Women’s Amateur.

    WHY TPI Screening and Exercise Programming?

    The benefits of TPI programs include increasing mobility, stability and strength as it relates to the golf swing which translates into more consistency, more distance, less body pain or stiffness after your rounds, and increased longevity for golf.  Shelly attributes her successes in the last couple of years to the addition of her TPI Exercise routines that she started in early 2021.

    Individual TPI Level 1 Assessment Package – $285 + tax = $299.25 (Recommended every 4-6 weeks)

    • Includes Level 1 assessment, and Golf Fitness Handicap
    • Exercise program designed on myTPI app, access for 6 weeks
    • 2 Follow up sessions for exercise check-up and asking questions

    Group Golf Mobility 101 Package – $100 + tax = $105 (4 sessions)

    • 4 – 6 People, Minimum 4, equipment provided
    • 1 sessions per week for 4 weeks (Mondays)
    • Targeted areas Thoracic Spine, Shoulders and Hips

    The first session of classes will begin the week of Monday January 30th.  There will be 2 groups:

      – Group A will begin at 1:00
      – Group B will begin at 2:30.
