On August 20th and 21st, Morningstar Golf Club hosted its annual Club Championship. A field of twelve women and 38 men started with a couple of players having to withdraw due to injuries. The weather cooperated beautifully so everyone enjoyed their rounds in glorious sunshine.
A very untimely main irrigation pipe leak under (!) the Golf Shop couldn’t keep players from their quest to prevail – a hearty congratulations goes out to:
- Robbie Potesta – Men’s Low Gross Winner with a two day gross score of 143
- Dennis Baker – Men’s Low Net Winner with a two day net score of 137
- Sally Dobler – Women’s Low Gross Winner with a two day gross score of 168
- Mary Higgins – Women’s Low Net Winner with a two day net score of 143
Thanks to all the members and players who participated in the Club Championship and to our own Morningstar team members who worked hard to ensure everyone had a successful and enjoyable event.
