Our Process

Golf, like any sport, requires skill. Specifically, it requires the ability to control where your golf ball goes.

To develop these skills, there are two critical pieces of the puzzle:

1.  The golfer needs clarity of intention.  They need to understand how they need to deliver the golf club through impact to create good shots.

2. The golfer needs a swing, chipping motion, putting stroke, etc. (technique)

Clarity of intention with the tool, the golf club, will give the golfer a chance to develop the ball control skills of SOLID, STRAIGHT and FAR.  Good technique that combines what a golfer’s body is capable of with sound movement principals gives the golfer the best chance to maximize these skills and play their best golf.

Our experience is that most golfers don’t fully understand what they are trying to do with the golf club to create solid and straight golf shots.  So, this is where we start.  Once a golfer knows how they want to deliver the club to impact and is trying to do it, we can see if their swing is good enough to meet their needs, If the swing doesn’t allow for success, we can make informed decisions about what, if anything, needs to be changed about the golfer’s technique so that effective impact can be more consistently achieved.

Off-Season Programs

If your existing technique isn’t good enough for you to hit the shots you want, the off-season is the perfect time to make improvements. Our indoor studio is equipped with industry leading technology to make the learning process fun, efficient and warm!

The key pieces of our studio are a Trackman Launch Monitor, digital video from any angle, projected on the 10-foot screen, a putting station and 3-D motion capture. While this may sound technical, our coaches are experts in using the technology to make accurate assessments, communicate improvement plans and tracking progress.

    Junior Golf Development Programs

At the Randle Golf Academy, we are excited about introducing juniors to the great game of golf and helping them reach whatever goals they may have for their golf. John’s background as junior, collegiate and tour player gives him the rare experience to help guide golfers through the development process. Having been a college golf coach gives him perspective on how the recruiting process goes for those juniors who have collegiate aspirations.

We are very excited to be partnering with Operation 36 starting in 2022. Op 36 is an industry leading program and curriculum that helps take golfers from beginner to elite. More information is coming soon but visit their web site at https://operation36.golf/ to see what is coming.

Program is set to launch in May, check out the Junior Academy Page for updated information.

    Short Game Clinics

Are you frustrated by inconsistent shots when you get close to the green?  Is this leading to wasted shots and higher scores than you know you should be shoting? Our Short Game Clinics focus on the key shots needed from within 30 yards of the hole and will remove all confusion on how to play these shots and a system for choosing the correct shot for any situation. Limited to 5 golfers per clinic, each student gets a lot of personal attention.

    Short Game Clinics are $35.

    Putting

Learn the 3 skills needed to be a good putter – direction control, speed control and green reading. Time is spent on stroke mechanics but most time is focused on how to practice most effectivley to develop the key skills.

    Chipping and Pitching

Learn our 3-step system for handling any shot around the green. Good technique, feel for distance control and the ability to choose the right shot for the situation will make your short game one of the strengths of your game!

    Sand Play

You may have heard that sand play is not difficult. Like many things, if you know the secrets, you can become very skilled. However, if you don’t, the sand can be very challenging. Attending one of our sand clinics will give you the tools to become a very good sand player.

    Upcoming 2023 Schedule

Clinics will start up again in the spring. Check back to see dates…
