Women’s Golf Day has become Women’s Golf Week! We are excited to be supporting this world-wide initiative with a week full of activities and events focused on supporting and encouraging women’s golf.  There will be a number of special activities and one main golf, clinic, and social event – sign up for one or two or attend the whole week!  Lots of fun and comeraderie for all!

Every Wednesday afternoon from May 8th through to September 11th, we will be offering a Nine & Dine package beginning at 2 pm.  Get a foursome together and plan to enjoy nine holes of golf followed by dinner in our restaurant!  More information and pricing to follow – stay tuned!

We are excited to be hosting Men’s Night at Morningstar this year!

Men’s Nights are scheduled this year every second Thursday from May 23rd through September 12th. Cost is $55 a player. Tee times can be booked between 4:00pm and 5:00pm. The night will consist of 9 holes of fun social games with dinner and prizes to follow. The dinner will be in a voucher ($25) and you can select anything off the regular menu. Prize presentation will be at 7:30pm sharp. We have some great prizes and sponsors this year so be sure to attend.

An 18 hole game is available for an extra $20. 18 hole tee times can be booked between 2:00pm and 3:00pm

Golf cars are available for $10 and rental clubs are also available for $10.

Welcome back to the Solheim Cup competitors!  We are expecting about 56 golfers to be teeing off in this competition starting at 8:00 am.  Good luck to everyone involved!

A new Event to Morningstar. We have the Hilarious Syd Bosel from Hot Flash Comedy and Canada’s Got Talent contestant performing in the Academy. And in case that wasn’t fun enough we will be hosting a fashion show before Syd gets on stage. Showcasing some of the great new product at Morningstar.

Here is a little about Syd the Comedian

Syd Bosel is a stand-up comic and comedic Storyteller who is originally from Vancouver, but recently moved to Comox, BC. She spills your life out onto the stage, as she shares her tales of “adult” children, being married for 1,000 years, and other glories of nature.

Her favourite reviews: “That older lady was really funny” (a Gen Z patron walking past me) and “My wife laughed so hard that she peed her pants” (a husband who lacks discretion whispering into my ear).

Syd is a regular headliner and touring comic with “Jokers Canada” and “Hot Flash Comedy”. She can be heard on CBC’s “Just for Laughs” and “Laugh Out Loud” She has opened for Maria Bamford, Debra DiGionanni, Simon King and Julie Kim.

Syd placed first and was voted Fan Favourite, in the 2018 “BC’s Funniest New Female Comic”, was a finalist in the 2019 “Great Canadian Yuk Off” and 2nd (out of 65 comics) in the “Funniest Person with a Day Job” Competitions. In 2023, she got 4 Yeses in “Canada’s Got Talent”
