A new Event to Morningstar. We have the Hilarious Syd Bosel from Hot Flash Comedy and Canada's Got Talent contestant performing in the Academy. And in case that wasn't fun enough we will be hosting a fashion show before Syd gets on stage. Showcasing some of the great new product at Morningstar.
Here is a little about Syd the Comedian
Syd Bosel is a stand-up comic and comedic Storyteller who is originally from Vancouver, but recently moved to Comox, BC. She spills your life out onto the stage, as she shares her tales of “adult” children, being married for 1,000 years, and other glories of nature.
Her favourite reviews: “That older lady was really funny” (a Gen Z patron walking past me) and “My wife laughed so hard that she peed her pants” (a husband who lacks discretion whispering into my ear).
Syd is a regular headliner and touring comic with “Jokers Canada” and “Hot Flash Comedy”. She can be heard on CBC’s “Just for Laughs” and “Laugh Out Loud” She has opened for Maria Bamford, Debra DiGionanni, Simon King and Julie Kim.
Syd placed first and was voted Fan Favourite, in the 2018 “BC’s Funniest New Female Comic”, was a finalist in the 2019 “Great Canadian Yuk Off” and 2nd (out of 65 comics) in the “Funniest Person with a Day Job” Competitions. In 2023, she got 4 Yeses in “Canada’s Got Talent”
